BMD is a Miami-based artist
whose passion is at the forefront of her
art works - paintings
and illustrations which wear emotion on their proverbial sleeves
and embrace the human frailty within all of us.
In particular, the
'Egghead' Series depicts emotional
universalities and catalogues BMD's own human experience.

An avid animal lover, BMD occasionally also draws inspiration
from her beloved cats, as well as from the less fortunate -
albeit no less valued - ferals in her community. She is an
active volunteer with The Cat Network in South Florida.
The Cat Network
is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to humanely reducing
the overpopulation of feral cats in our community. They
provide access to low-cost medical services which include
spay/neuter for stray, homeless and abandoned cats, as well as
testing and vaccinations, foster placement and adoption aids.
